Philip Warthen

Philip Warthen is a Senior Product Manager Technical at Amazon Web Services currently working on their Elastic Compute Cloud Auto Scaling. He is part of the auto-scaling group in charge of ensuring the cloud stays simple and cost-effective for developers. In addition to his role at AWS he is also a Mentor at iMentor, a non-profit based out of NYC. Before his current role, he was a Senior PM at Amazon working on a green-field portfolio of products for Middle Mile and Last Mile logistics. Philip has also worked as a Management Consultant at EY and an Investment Bank Summer Associate at JP Morgan.

Philip started off his educational background at the Univer States Air Force Academy, where he earned his Bachelor's degree in Management with a Minor in Mandarin. After completing that program he went on to attend the University of Oklahoma, earning not one but two Master's degrees (Human and International Relations) from the university. On top of that, he also holds an MBA from the NYU Stern School of Business.
