Tim Swaid

Tim Swaid is a Product Leader, currently working at Meta, with over a decade of experience building incredible interfaces. Before this, he was a Program Manager for Amazon Lex at Amazon Web Services (AWS). He spent his two years in this role, negotiating contracts, expanding his team, and working on data collection tools for ML and AI training.

Tim also previously worked as a PM and Product Designer at AppTek and a Senior UX Designer at nexum AG. Tim earned his degree in Interaction Design and Visual Communication from the Aachen University of Applied Sciences. He worked very hard and ended up graduating with a 4.0 GPA.

Tim has been praised by his colleagues for his ability to work calmly under pressure and his tireless research that allows him to design based on data and evidence. He is described as an amazing team player who always thinks outside of the box. He believes that designing means caring, communication matters, and improvement comes from observation.
